First Saturdays, 12-3pm, Outdoor Classroom
Everyone is welcome to join us on the first Saturday of the month, from 12-3pm, at our Outdoor Classroom in Cheat Lake for an Open House. This is a chance for you and your family to visit and learn about the non-releasable birds in the ACCA's care. No reservations required; stop by on the first Saturday of the month anytime between 12-3pm. Bring a picnic! It is free to attend these First Saturday tours, but donations are always welcome to help support the birds' care.

Morgantown Migratory Bird Day, Saturday, May 10, 7:30am-2pm
Join us on Saturday, May 10, for our local celebration of World Migratory Bird Day! This free, family-friendly event is held at Cooper's Rock State Forest. For more information, click here.

Morgantown Birding Cup, Friday, May 16-Saturday, May 17, 6pm-6pm.
Our annual friendly birding competition is back! Participants count as many bird species as possible in a 24-hour period. For more information and to register, click here.

Summer Kick-off Party, Saturday, June 21, 6pm.
We had so much fun at our first Summer Kick-off Party last year, we've decided to make it an annual event. The party will be held at our Outdoor Classroom in Cheat Lake and will feature local food and drink, music, a live auction, and more. For more information and to register, click here.

June 23-26, 2025 (for K-2 grade, 9am-12:30pm)
July 7-10, 2025 (for 3rd-5th grade, 9am-3pm)
