NOW OPEN FRIDAYS!
Our Outdoor Classroom in Cheat Lake will be open for visitors on Fridays from 1-6pm, April through October. This is a chance for you and your family to visit and learn about the non-releasable birds in the ACCA's care. No appointment is needed and it is free to visit on Fridays, but donations are always welcome to help support the birds' care.  Please note that these Friday hours are intended for families, friends, and individuals to visit. To schedule a tour for a group or class, please contact us.

Owl-O-Ween: October 26, 2025, 2-5pm.
Join us at the Outdoor Classroom on Sunday, October 26, from 2-5pm for our annual Owl-O-Ween celebration! Everyone is welcome at this free, family friendly event. Guests will have the opportunity to dissect owl pellets and create owl-themed arts and crafts, in addition to meeting and learning about several non-releasable owls in our care. Costumes encouraged! AND, just across the field from the Outdoor Classroom, Cheat Lake Animal Hospital is hosting a Trunk or Treat. See you there!


LOOKING AHEAD:
Summer Kick-off Party, Saturday, June 20, 2026.
This is our super fun annual fundraising event! The party will be held at our Outdoor Classroom in Cheat Lake and will feature local food and drink, music, a live auction, and more. Registration opens Spring 2026!


Raptor Camp 2026

Dates TBD (for 3rd-5th grade, 9am-3pm)
Our popular summer camp is back! Registration will open in early March 2026.
