Education is the most important part of our mission!
Through education and outreach, we hope that we can make the world a better place not just for birds, but also for humans and everything else in the ecosystem.
We offer several types of interactive educational programs. Most frequently, we give presentations of about an hour in length, featuring three live, non-releasable ambassador birds. We discuss the ways birds are important to healthy ecosystems as well as the natural histories of the species we bring. We are happy to modify our programs to fit the age of the audience or the theme of the event. Please don’t hesitate to reach out by email for more information. We are licensed by the US Fish & Wildlife Service to possess the non-releasable birds we use in our educational programs. These non-releasable birds and our educators travel to schools, libraries, scout camps, and elsewhere to help engage audiences in our educational messaging.
