Education is the most important part of our mission!
Through education and outreach, we hope that we can make the world a better place not just for birds, but also for humans and everything else in the ecosystem.
We offer several types of interactive educational programs, including on-site and off-site visits. We discuss the ways birds are important to healthy ecosystems as well as the natural histories of the species in our care. We are happy to modify our programs to fit the age of the audience or the theme of the event. We are licensed by the US Fish & Wildlife Service and the US Department of Agriculture to possess the non-releasable birds we use in our educational programs. These non-releasable birds help engage audiences in our educational messaging. For specific information about scheduling an educational program, click here.
