Thank you for caring about wild birds! We sincerely appreciate your support. There are several ways to help the birds in our care:
Donate. We are a 501c3 organization; donations are tax-deductible! Please click here to DONATE.
Donations also can be made directly from our Facebook page.
And we accept checks in any amount, mailed to:
ACCA, 286 Fairchance Road, Morgantown, WV, 26508
Send gifts to the birds. Our Amazon Wish List includes a wide variety of food, cleaning supplies, husbandry necessities, enrichment items, and more. Also, we aren’t picky about brands, and we will gladly accept these and similar items from vendors other than Amazon. Garbage bags and disinfectant may seem like boring gifts, but we always need those kinds of items! To view our list, visit: https://amzn.to/3lVwNXW
Feed our raptors. We gladly accept donations of frozen food from Rodent Pro. Food can be ordered via their website and shipped to our address (ACCA, 286 Fairchance Road, Morgantown, WV, 26508). We feed white or dark mice, size extra-large, large, or medium; rats, size large, medium, small, or weaned; chickens, size extra small; and quail, size small, medium, or large. Rodent Pro also offers live insects; we always need standard mealworms and standard waxworms. Visit: https://www.rodentpro.
Feed our songbirds. Our friends at the Wild Birds Unlimited store in Morgantown’s Suncrest Towne Centre are partnering with us to help feed the songbirds in our care. Bird seed, suet, mealworms, and even a few feeders (we hang feeders just outside “Mac” the bald eagle’s enclosure—he seems to enjoy watching the little birds!) are available for purchase in person at the store. You can leave items there for us to pick up, or you can order online and select “pick up at store” and we will get them there. The folks at the store have our Wish List available there, too, and it’s also here: https://mywishlist.
Volunteer. Volunteers feed birds, conduct educational presentations, write grants, build enclosures, and more. For more information, visit this page.
