Contribute

Thank you for your interest in contributing to the ACCA! We sincerely appreciate every contribution.

Here are three easy ways you can help:

1. Donate. Starting a new avian conservation center is expensive! Start-up costs include construction materials, ICU enclosures, various types of bird food, and more. Our 501c3 tax-exempt status is currently pending, but the IRS will treat donations made in the 15 months prior to receiving 501c3 status as tax exempt (assuming we are granted 501c3 status, of course!) We will accept monetary donations in any amount, and donating $20 or more will make you an ACCA member for one year. Members will receive our newsletter and periodic email updates. We will also accept donations of gift cards—especially gift cards from home improvement stores. Donations may be mailed to the ACCA, 286 Fairchance Road, Morgantown, WV, 26508.

2. Wish List. We recently complied an Amazon Wish List. Items can be purchased from our Wish List and shipped directly to us from Amazon. Any and all of these items will be greatly appreciated!

3. Volunteer and Spread the Word. If you’d like to find out more about volunteering with the ACCA, email admin@accawv.org. We could use a variety of help—contact us to find out more. Also, if you know folks who might be interested in contributing to the ACCA, spread the word about us! Pass on our contact information, suggest our Facebook page to your friends, etc. And of course, if you find an injured wild bird, call (304) 906-5438.

Thanks in advance for your help, and thank you for caring about the conservation of Appalachia’s wild birds!
